Accident Claims

Could I have a few thoughts on my accident claim before I go to the solicitor.
I had a very serious RTA in feb, was in intensive care for 12 days then 8 days on the main ward, the other driver was completley at fault. Does my partner claim in her own right for distress,suffering and expenses or are they included in my claim / should I try and get them in my claim.

I'll ask a friend of me who is a laywer specialising in car injury claims. I'll ask when/if I get a chance.0
