Ebayer selling Windows XP for £10??

Is this genuine?

I thought XP could only be installed once - he says it has been installed but will work again and again???

    Seems very fishy to me,

    a genuine version of XP is on amazon for £249.99, so I cannot see how this seller has multiple copies of XP Professional w/ SP2 for under £10...
    It does not state that a licence or certificate of authenticity (COA) is provided, and the seller also mentions that it is 'pre-activated', common with the pirated 'corporate' versions of XP circulating the internet.

    If you are after a legit, legal version of XP, stay away from this seller, especially seeing as this is the first item he has sold, and he only has 10 feedback (all from items which he purchased).

    See how far a little pre-purchase research takes you...

    Selling pirate software on ebay is not allowed, even selling legit Microsoft products is very difficult without the appropriate permissions from Microsoft.

    The chances of this being anywhere near a legal copy is remote.

    Thanks guys

    I searched further and found loads of people selling similiar items - how do they get away with it!

    Because:
    1. ebay don't police things very well on their own;
    2. people who see these listings don't often report them;
    3. when they do report them, ebay are slow to do anything (if indeed they do anything at all).

    Well, I have to say that someone on here is doing very well with reporting. I've never seen things get pulled so quickly before.

    Well done
