Abbey to TSB money transfer question

I want to transfer money(around £950) from my Abbey national account to a family members Lloyds TSB account, I was wanting to do it so it'd clear today but work commitments may make this a hard task. I was wanting to know if a BACS transfer would do this instantly? and if anyone knows how much the Abbey would charge for this service?

It's okay folks, I found out what I was looking for. If anyone else is wanting to know it's a CHAPS payment I had to request.0
