    This is the response I got from someone@PPA.NHS.UK:

    "Thank you for your e-mail, As long as it NHS Dental Treatment you are receiving you should just need to produce your HC2 certificate and no charge should be made as your certificate covers the treatment."

    Then I would print that email out, and take it with your HC2 to your next appointment.

    I've done one better, I sent them an email to let them know how unhappy I was with their service and explained that their policies were wrong.
