This is the response I got from someone@PPA.NHS.UK:
"Thank you for your e-mail, As long as it NHS Dental Treatment you are receiving you should just need to produce your HC2 certificate and no charge should be made as your certificate covers the treatment."0 -
Then I would print that email out, and take it with your HC2 to your next appointment.Signature removed for peace of mind0

I've done one better, I sent them an email to let them know how unhappy I was with their service and explained that their policies were wrong.0
