Suspicious phonecall about bank/credit card charges

I received a call just a few mins ago from 01253 755 780 asking if I have had any bank charges in the last few years (I actually missed the call and had no idea who it was, so I called them to be precise) It seemed really fishy so I didn't stay on the phone too long. Possible scammer?
