I had a call this morning saying oh you entered a competition (quite likely methinks ....) and that were my children between 3 & 13 - ha - said no 'cos it was DD's birthday the other day ... and she sounded all dispondent - said well I didn't qualify anymore and hung up ...
well chuffed now to realise it was a narrow escape

Wow!! So glad I caught up with this thread - had a missed call from this number this afternoon - did google it but didnt come up with anything. I know not to answer it now if they try again!!!! Cheers guys!

I had a call last night too. They rambled on for ages about sending me one of the trial things, then abruptly hung up when they realised they wouldn't get anything out of me, no way, no how!

I didn't enter the maths tuition comp but they never mentioned anything about competitions. Would have saved me a lot of wasted time if they had!

I received a phonecall from these people today claiming i have 2 children between 2 and 5! I have no children!!!!
I told them this and they told me "fine we'll have to remove you from our mailing list then" I also had a phonecall on Friday from Women & Home magazine telling me i could suscribe for just £1 per magazine.

Talk about harrassment!

I just had a call but when I answered it rung off, so I did 1471 & the number was 02074309440 as I see it's the same as above so thanks for the warning I know it's mychild, so I'm waiting for them to ring back should be fun I'll tell them to stop harrassing people :rotfl:

I'm beginning to wonder if they have any prizes for all these competitions they advertise....seems like just a chance to grab some numbers.

Most of the mychild competitions seem to be in the game over section on here but on their website here they seem to be up and running..................no end dates...............no winners lists....................t&c's state agreement to contact by email nothing mentioned about phoning us at all hours and being rude and argumentative nor does it say you have to have a subscription to win one of the prizes but with no end date...................are the comps ever won?

I am really glad that I found this thread as I have had several missed calls from this number 02074309440 on my mobile today. No doubt I will have them calling me again and I will be ready for them :-)
