uninstalling livebox

Hello everyone,
Was hoping for some technical help! I need to uninstall my livebox so that I can install the wireless adaptor I have been sent, but have sat here for about an hour trying to figure out how to uninstall it Sorry, it probably is something really simple that I have missed!!

Can you explain exactly what you are trying to achieve? The Livebox should not need to be uninstalled, even if you want to install a wireless adaptor.

I have been sent a replacement wireless adaptor from orange, on the letter that came with it it says to put CD in before installing the livebox modem otherwise it won't work. I therefore assumed that I would need to uninstall the livebox first

You do not need to uninstall the Livebox if you are simply fitting a new wireless adaptor. If the new wireless adaptor is a different make/model, uninstall the old wireless adaptor first and then simply install the new one. The Livebox is unaffected by this!

Ok thank you - it is a different make of adaptor so I will try that - thank you for your help!
