tesco car insurance and £50 voucher

In february I renewed my car insurance with Tesco, after getting cheaper quotes elsewhere, they offered to lower my premium slightly and offer a £50 voucher.
(this was a promotion that they were running for new customers at the time, but were using 'with discression' with current customers, to keep their custom) this ment that the quote was about the same as I had got from elsewhere, so went ahead with Tesco.
I asked about confirmation of the voucher in writing, but they said it was 'on the system' and I would recieve it within 4-6 weeks.
its now 7 weeks, and as you probably guessed, its not arrived, I will be chasing this up, but just wondered if any other MSErs were having the same problem.

just a quick update for anyone else wondering where their voucher is....called tesco today, they say that it takes 6-8 'working weeks' to recieve the voucher, and they dont start counting the 6-8 weeks until four weeks after the insurance policy starts, due to the 'cooling off period' so dont hold your breath for at least 12 weeks!....at this rate I'll be looking round for next years quotes before I get the voucher!!0
