PPI mis-selling and also policy not paying out leading to bankruptcy

If there is anybody with any advice it would really help.

This is linked to PPI in that my partner took out a loan about 5 years ago and had to have the compulsory insurance to secure the loan (for a car).
Subsequently he was the victim of a car accident, his car was written off and he suffered injuries.

As he was injured and also had no car to carry out his work he lost his job therefore not being able to pay his loan. The PPI insurance would not pay out - not sure of the reason and my partner had to be declared bankrupt and is still suffering the financial fall out from this.

As well has claiming for the mis-selling of the insurance is there anything he can do to re-visit the insurance not paying out and any compensation to re-store the damage done by becoming bankrupt?

it is probably best you find out the reason why he was rejected on the claim. You would exect a PPI to cover him and in my experience car accidents resulting in injuries have only been rejected when a driving offence was commited. i.e. uninsured, drink driving etc. Or where out of pocket expenses have already been paid under a different insurance policy (as you cannot double claim).

If he was not satisfied with the outcome of the claim, then he can complain to the PPI company.
