Just bought some of these from my local Asda in Wythenshawe. I don't know if its nationwide but they had plenty in stock. They had both AA and AAA at the same price. They are a bargain and I have used these for a while and they do the job. Normally they are double this price.

Cos seeing you *one* sample result vs hundreds of Asda stores helps people make an informed decision?! (& unless you say where you live, we can't make an informed decision - it might be regional & you might live near Asda, Wythenshawe but you were unlucky etc)
We still don't even know which store...so you've not even saved the legs of the few that happen to frequent the same store.

not sure if same but we bought some uniross aa recharchable batteries in asda for £2.29p. we go through loads with the baby toys.A happy wife, and mum to 2 lovely little boys :j0
