Butchers Classic is dog food though, have you checked for "Classic Cat Meat Multipack 4 Pack 1600g"? (assuming you are looking for cat food)

As the website relies on there being stock at your local store, the only way you will be able to see if there is any at a store nearby is by changing the address as you said - tedious I know! Other than that, phoning around is probably the only way to find out :)

Sorry I can't be of more help

Mind you, it might not be worth the bother anyway. It's pretty basic cat food (albeit very cheap in this instance) but my fussy little beggars won't eat it anyway :rotfl:

Displays as Classic Cat Meat Multipack 4 Pack 1600g if I enter "my postcode" as EX1 1AA (Exeter)

If I click on the product info icon I get the following page displayed.

    http://www.tesco.com/superstore/xpi/2/xpi56035432.htm

    Starts off with .....

Butcher's Classic® with chunks in jelly is a complete catfood for cats of all ages. 2 of each: WITH Chicken in Jelly. WITH Game in Jelly. Meaty chunks in jelly. No cereal, no soya. 100% Natural Flavour. Preservative Free. Wildly more-ish. Wickedly good.

I always thought that Classic was on a par with other premium tinned cat food. Mine are also fussy little sods and will only eat Felix or Classic.

If anyone does find it for a penny, it would be nice to get some and leave it in the animal rescue site bin, for cat/dog food.

A good deed for the day :D

Well I've tried my postcode which is the Northwich store and my dads which I think might be Stafford but no joy with either. Deep sigh

Thats the only reason I would buy it as I don't have any cats or dogs.

  • I guess the cats & dogs in my area will be grateful after being fed nothing but beef in gravy for the past month or so even though my tesco won't do a bulk order!
