    Hiya
Me and my family (2 +2) did the waterpark,Hotel and themepark over a weekend in march.
We booked through Holidayextras who i think have the booking monopoly.
I would think its very unlikly youll get a deal at that time of year (ie. School Hols)
We paid £220 for the hotel room including Park tickets and had to pay £10 each to do the water park so the weekend cost us £65 each for 2 days entertainment and a hotel room with all you can eat breakfast so all in all its not too bad.
    Cheers.

Found 1 night 28th July or 2 nights from 28th July on alton towers website. Using code from this thread
    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=802963&highlight=mirr+alton
    £128.75 per 6 person room.
This is only b+b but with the current excess of offers(tetleys and walkers to name two) it shouldn't cost much more for tickets.

Terms and conditions of offer state you need the voucher to hand in at check-in. Just dug mine out of the recycling bin!

I actually live about ten minutes drive away from Alton Towers - ( i worked on the pirate ship for a whole summer when i was a student!)
We use Splash Landings with the kids a lot in the hols and have stayed at the hotel out of season really cheap - its often worth phoning Towers direct and trying to get a deal over the phone - they're often very amenable - particularly if you're looking at combining the water park and rides and hotel.
They offer lots of local deals in the local press that might be worth you looking at: vouchers / two for one etc - not sure what has been offered so far and whether they will cover all you want but its perhaps worth looking at the websites of the local paper / news which are their online versions -

have fun and toot if you're passing through Leek enroute - my home town!
  • Hi, if you want to book at Splash landings hotel for a stay, try using the following code on the online booking form with alton towers direct and it should give you a rate of £70 per night for a family room including breakfast, this won't include park tickets though.

    Code ELG8

Hope it works for you, I've just booked for next week
  • This will not work for me.
could you please let me know the web address,
it is saying that there is a problem with the code.
    thanks blossam121

Works for me but they try to make us have 2 rooms because we are a family of 5 (even though they have family rooms to accommodate 5)which makes the cost £140 for 1 night.
  • That looks like a great deal - thank you! But I can't see where to put the promo code in to bring down the price. Can you give me a link please
  • Sorry any ideas anyone?

When you click the Book Now button, make sure you select "Alton Towers Hotel Packages". Sometimes the code "WOOL" will be cheaper than ELG8, but not always.

Were you asked for any kind of ID or anything to prove eligibility for this rate when you checked in?
