Can I put my £4k overdraft on to a 0% creditcard, without incurring extra fees?

Hello

Would any of you kind folks know wether or not I can transfer my current £4k overdraft to a 0% credit card(like a balance transfer) without incurring any additional cost? I'm not sure if I can still get the 0% offer as I'm not making a balance transfer form another card.

Thanks in advance for your help:beer:

Confused:o

Yes if you have an Egg Money card. Withdraw cash from Egg Money to pay off the current account, balance transfer from Egg Money to another card. Or better, do the balance transfer first if the terms and conditions of the card you're transferring to let you.

I have a very similar question- sorry to gatecrash!

I have just been agreed for a virgin cc, with the 15 months at 0%. I wish to use this to pay off my £1000 overdraft. I plan to pay off my overdraft with a different credit card (currently clear), then balance transfer this across to get the 0%.

Does this all sound ok? The only thing i'm not sure about is how to actually pay the £1000 overdraft off with a credit card. How would I do that?

    Thanks:confused:

With virgin you can do a BT to another credit card or to your current account. Can you not do the BT straight to the account with the overdraft?

    Who is the OD with?

You don't need another credit card in addition to your Virgin card.

This lender allows you to transfer up to 95% of your credit limit to your current account to pay off an overdraft.

IMO, it's best to request the transfer by phone (as opposed to online), so you can check the 0% interest rate will apply. Otherwise you risk being charged for a money transfer, which is rather expensive.

You can request the transfer when you call to activate the new card. The money arrives in your bank account in about 6 days.
