I agree, I never expected the problem to be resolved so easily. Personally I think La Redoute couldn't be bothered with me, especially as I haven't ordered anything for a while, but I thought they were lying because I remember someone posting about the slow cooker only recently...

I will be ultra careful with this one. It is true the high setting is very high, and does burn stuff, so I am not going above the low one from now on!0 -
