Google history

Can anyone tell me how to get rid of the goole history list. Everytime I type a letter a long list of everything I've searched pops up. It's not important, just a bit annoying now

Thanks for that, I'm using IE7. I've tried deleting the browsing history in internet options but it doesn't seem to get rid of this list

It's an option within Google itself, well if mine was anything to go by!

Go to https://www.google.co.uk, and click on My Account, top right. Then click on Web History and then turn it off.

  • Hi,

try this, settings > options > search box settings, make sure 'suggest searches from my search box history' is unticked, in fact you could untick all three if you wish.
  • uhm sorry but where is settings located ...

Try opening the list, and the first search will be highlighted. Then hit delete on your keyboard and they'll disappear really fast.:)

I think I've sorted this now. Use "tools" then "internet options" then "content" then "auto complete" unchecked the forms box and that's it. :j
