Am I being ripped off by an Insurance Company

Hi all

I am having real problems with a company called Asprea. They are handling an insurance claim I have made through my house insurance.

The problem is I had some water get into my house through the roof after the recent storms. I assumed that they occurred because of the storms, so called them to claim. They went ahead and surveyed it and even got some scaffolding up.

I then got a phone call the next day telling me that the company werent going to do the work as it was wear and tear and not storm damage. I now have to foot the bill for the scaffolding and still have this leak.

Does anyone know if I am getting stitched up here or has it happened to them?
