Could you enlighten us as to where this quote is from? Breaching copy right comes into mind...
Health & Safety Executive website.

Regarding the copyright, it's subject to Crown Copyright. I'll let you do your own research as to why I've not breached it.
You can sod off back under your rock now.

Hope you have also told your neighbours that you have 100 litre of petrol stored in your garage.
What a totally stupid and highly dangerous thing to do !!!!!!!!!!!
Un beliveable what some people will do !!!!!!!!0 -
Sad that such people have to resort to childish things when they don't like what they see and read.
(And I did take the time to find out about the copyright took less than 30 seconds but presumably that is longer than the attention span of Banana23)0 -

So exactly which bit of the underlined part didn't you understand?
I asked a perfectly ligitimate questions when I asked where the excerpt was from and why they wasn't a source quoted.
The only thing that is sad is that when people resort to bullying if they don't have anything constructive to say.0 -

Apologies - it wasn't originally credited as CC - but subsequently was.
I think I must have had a minor flakey - sorry about that.
Quite agree - bullying is bad and should not be tolerated. Haven't seen any examples yet mind you on here. Just disagreements0 -

Thanks for the acknowledgement. I appreciate it.0 -
anyway, wether its dangerous or not,to reduce the risk when the tank is emptied, fill it totally with water, then emtpy it.
even when the tank is empty it still contains the vapour from the petrol and will still be as dangerous maybe even more dangerous as it was when full.
filling it with water will take out the vapour.
anyway 100 litres is only around 2 average sized tanks,is it really worth it?
i think the real savings would be buying thousands of litres not hundreds.
then there is the pirice of the tank to cover....work permit granted!0 -
This is just one MSE measure too far.0
