When I use the search function I get the following message.
"An Error Has Occured!
You must specify a search string!"
What am I doing wrong?

simple question first, you are definitely entering text in the first search box i.e words to search for0

Yes, I thought somebody might ask that. I have tried single and multiple word searches. I've also tried using "+'s" for multiple word searches. When I have entered a word in the search box, I scroll down to the bottom of the page and change the date for oldest post to something greater than the default 0. Sometimes the search works, but most often I get the error message.0

when you enter your text has the page finished loading i.e. globe in top right stopped spinning or flag stopped moving, just wondering if you are beating the page and as you have gone to bottom of page you don't see the page finish loading and 'reset' the text box, sometimes you do it too quick, others you don't?
tried myself a couple of times and it seems Ok, that was the only thing that struck me as a possible cause?0
