Hi
I have sky plus downstairs with multiroom box in my bedroom. Just bought daughter reconditioned digibox & freesat card for her bedroom for her birthday but she has asked to pay herself the £10 per month to have full multiroom in her room.
As she already has the box do I just ask for another card (hers is blue with yellow house) or do they just upgrade via satellite!!!
Sorry can't find info on sky site

Start by doing what's necessary, then what's possible, and suddenly you are doing the impossible.

Almost sure they can upgrade her existing card, but the best bet is to ring Sky.0

I think you may have to pay to have it installed unless you have a main aerial in her room already?Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0

Is it up and running as a Freesat box already? If not do you have a spare LNB output to run to her box from your dish?
If it's already all connected and working and you have the card with the yellow house, I'm pretty certain you just call up Sky and get them to activate it. You will need to connect it to a phone line though."...IT'S FRUITY!"0 -
Thanks for replies - sorry I've been away so only just seen them!
Box is already up & working in her room - I had it installed for her birthday. Will ring sky & get them to change it from freesat to full sky but will need phone line first!Start by doing what's necessary, then what's possible, and suddenly you are doing the impossible.0
