The Hut.co.uk? Anyone Ordered From Them?

Has anyone shopped with this company before? Can you tell me what they are like as hubby wants to order from them but I am very cautious about new companies! Any info would be great!

I have shopped with The Hut a number of times and have never had any problems,orders arrived quickly.

i ordered a book from them on thursday last week and it arrived on saturday. never heard of them before but I was price checking on 123.pricecheck.co.uk and it picked them up as the cheapest so thought I would give them a go. x

I order from them all the time as their prices often compare favourably to others and I have never had any problems!

Recently did my first order from them, imported cd from america. Came within the suggested time frame with no problems.

I think there also run the ASDA Entertainment website as well.

I ordered from them one saturday evening then an hour later - if that found it all much cheaper on amazon, so went back and cancelled the order and backed it up with an email.

two weeks later the order arrived and they took the money three times from my account, took them a week from then to send me the address and code to send it back and a free post address - took a further 4 weeks to get my money back!

never again!

Man order book from The Hut.
Credit card rejected.
Man thinks end of matter.
Three weeks later book is dispatched without reentering the CC details.
Man explains situation to Hut.
Book still send and charged.
Man gives book back.
The Hut don't respond to emails.
Man phones but still have not received refund and ongoing.
This episode has been going on for three months.

oh dear. I have ordered 2 dvds from the hut recently, they both should have been dispatched a few weeks ago but nothing yet appart from emails from them saying they are 'chasing their supplier'...bit worried now about it, thinking about cancelling but don't want to end up in the situation of the above poster where I am charged anyway....

I think you're right; there is some kind of affinity as I'm sure they share the same address.

I've used TheHut a few times and have no complaints....
