IMHO i would get flights booked ASAP as the prices on flights generally just increase and July is peak season.
Then again i would never book accom first and then flights as you can nearly always find accom but you could struggle to get flights for you all on the exact dates you want if you leave it till last min.
Where are you wanting to fly from?
What dates are you going on?"Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away."0 -
the accommodation is free as it is my parents so wouldnt lose any money if we couldnt go, were wanting to fly from east midlands and for roughly a week anytime in july0

I see now about the accom but you wouldnt believe how many people book accom and then leave flights till last min and cant find any or enough seats.
I would take a look at www.skyscanner.co.uk for flights but as above i would get booked asap."Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away."0 -
Hi, we're always on the look out for flights to tenerife as we have free/cheap accom from relatives. We paid £200 per person with Thomsonfly in October last minute last year. But looking already this year for Oct 2008 the prices are the same.
I do occasionally get emails from thomsonfly for special offers, but they are usually very last minute and from smaller airports (we personally fly from gatwick). So it may be worth signing up to thomsonflys newsletter.0 -
It would seem flight prices have risen sharply. Been to Lanzarote twice over the last 2 years and paid approx £90 each time. Looking again for next year and £150 to £200 are the best I can find.0
