Sorry, can't help but had to laugh at:
M: Can I speak to a supervisor?
S: No, she's on lunch
M: Can I have a call back?
S: Yes but she won't be back til Thursday
I want lunchbreaks like that
I was going to post the EXACT same thing!!! :rotfl:
Sky sound so nightmarish, sorry you had to go through that! :eek:Toluna - 68,260 points (16,300 pending) | Pigsback - £2.72 (claimed £30) | Global Test Market - 230 points | OnePoll - £12.30 | Lightspeed - 480 points | YouGov - £15.75 | Pinecone - £8.000 -
Cheers folks
I always try to remain calm, even though Sky really tried my patience, I used to work in a call centre when I was in my teens, I hated people shouting and screaming and I don't want to inflict that on anyone else.
Faxed through, e-mailed and sent my complaint letter and I'll keep this updated.
I also want a 3 day lunch break!£2 Coin Savers Club (Christmas)- £86£1 Jar (Christmas)- £29Christmas Vouchers Saved: £1450 -

I fully sympathise, I had a similar situation/sceneario with the then Telewest about a "box office" (can't remember waht they called their pay per view) type film. Their CS were absolutely useless too. I then changed to Sky but after their regular price hikes and garbage, moronic programmes left them.
Now UPGRADED to Freeview and would recommend the same for you. Use a PVR to record and watch the programmes when and what you want. For films just join a DVD rental company - it's cheaper than "Box Office" per film anyway.0 -

LoL had to laugh at this e-mail I received from viewer relations this evening
Dear Mrs DM
Thank you for your recent communication via our website.
I am sorry you had trouble watching Wrestlemania on 30th/31st March 2008, it was not our intention to cause disruption to your pay per view event.
I can advise no damage was caused by your order to Sky Box Office as suggested by our advisor.
Please accept a refund of £14.95 to your account as an apology for the disruption to your viewing.
Yours Sincerely,
Valerie
Customer Relations
Is that or is that not one of the most feeble apologies ever?!!
Glad to see I didn't cause that damage I was so worried about to Box Office after all :rotfl: !!

DM I have friends who have worked the Listening Company who do Sky's customer service. They are poorley paid and badly treated. I remember they were advertising jobs for £5odd an hour when I got recrutied into a call centre for a lot more. I think that's pretty shocking  considering the money Sky charge that they then try and get cheap labour.
So unsurprisingly they have a high turn over. I know my friends who worked there hot footed it out as soon as better opportunities come along.
Not that you guess from there flashy website. I am going on info for over a year ago, so it might not still be them that does contract, but it makes you think.0
