Hiya
I want to disconnect my VCR so I can plug in my Sony Freeview box when it comes out in spring.
Problem being, I dont know what to do with the existing connectors, there is the ariel and one below that, then on the other side there are two connections and a Scart connector.
As you have guessed I am not a techie and too ancient to learn.
I think my PS3may be connected to it also, if this is the case . what do I do to keep my PS3 connected?
Sorry, I know Im a dumbo and do need help.
Thankx

    Too ancient WITH a PS3?... c'mon!:D

Anyway, are you replacing the VCR with the Freeview box (i.e. is it a PVR as well) or will you connect it all back up to include the VCR?

No, I will not be using the VCR again with this set up.

Some info required so I can help you.

    1) Is the Freeview box a PVR (does it record)?
    2) How many Scart sockets does the Freeview box have?
    3) How many Scart sockets does the TV have?
    4) How is the PS3 connected?
