Hi, just opened my post, usually open it every 6 months or so, on the basis of if I know what it is I don't need to open it, and if I don't know, I don't want to know. I am now trying to be good, as I have found a few nasty surprises recently!
Anyway, named letter, as above, 0% BT 12 months, 0% purchases 3 months, APR 13.9% (typical) thereafter. Have had these before but not usually looked at them. I opened one yesterday that expired before Christmas.
Did my first ever BT a few weeks ago from a HBoS that had crept up to 23.5% APR, one of the milder surprises.
Still have another CC that could do with a BT, so is this my best option do you think, i.e. because it has my name on it is it really is guaranteed, or I think I have read that they have a high rejection rate and usually have a low limit. Do not want to waste a credit check.
Thanks for any help.

Not trying to be rude but what is your question?
P.S. if it says guaranteed then it should be guaranteed, i.e. very low chance of rejection. and one credit check won't hurt your score unless you've applied to 4+ credits in the past year0 -
Good luck if you apply but I wouldn't rely too much on the 'guarnateed', you will probably still have to go through their application process.0

I responded to one of these offers recently and the next contact I had was a card through the post. I have successfully completed the balance transfer (though I did have to wait almost a week after requesting the transfer for them to send a letter with a reference code to use before I could complete it).0

Thanks all,
Sorry I wasn't specific, suddenly realised I was due to get my daughter from the airport.
It seemed too easy just filling in the form.
I had wondered if I was likely to get enough of a limit to make the BT worthwhile if they are usually set quite low, because if not I could try for one that is known to be more generous instead.0
