Wot current Acc to use with Kaupthing

I have a joint account for regular income with partner. However, need new single name account to operate single account with Kaupthing or similar high interest saving account as joint account will not do.

Any recommendations for a current account :
1)not requireing regular wage to be paid in,
2)no directdebit or bacs transfer fees
3)good interest
4)possibly cheque book

Also the best account where you can use the branch too.

Go and get a basic current account, which should be ideal for your needs. Go into your current bank's branch and ask to open one.

I'm sure one of the T&C said that it wouldn't, maybe that was a different bank.

Kaupthing don't do joint accounts though do they.
