I used to love the fizzy water, I bought a new machine a while (2 years) back but cant find any gas cylinders anywhere. Asda and Boots used to have them but not for a while.

I buy Lidl sparkling water, but once its opened it loses the fizz.

where can you go to fill them up?

I fill mine up at Tesco. They are with the drinks, by the fizzy drinks, usually in an obscure corner somewhere! Sometimes the staff don't even know where they are! If you take your empty gas cylinder with you, you collect the new one, give the old one to the checkout person and the new one, they scan the new one as a "refill" and you only pay the £3.49. If you don't have a bottle you have to buy one, which is £12ish, then you can use it up and start to swap it when you refill.

Maybe asking on Freecycle is anyone has an old bottle would be an idea. Or what about ebay? Mine was secondhand off ebay.

We have one of these and I like to have my wine spritzers with soda water so I save on buying the water and the water stays fizzy for AGES in those bottles too.

I love mine too. Our local hardware shop stocks the cartridges. You can get different sized bottles too so you can make up how much you want without the rest going flat.

I got a Sodastream with two bottles and two gas cylinders for £3 from a local charity shop. The refill cost me £3.99 and it makes 35 litres.

If you want to know where to get refills just email sodastream and let them know where you live so they can let you know their local outlets.

Wow, you got a bargain, I've only got one bottle and when that runs out I have to go to Tesco, which isn't near so I have to wait for the car or get someone to take me. Then I get there and they have run out...............so emailing sodastream is a brilliant idea, I have only found Tesco who do them so far, and often they don't have them in stock, I love my fizzy water! I'm trying to lose weight, so am trying to drink water instead of gallons of tea (decaf) with all that milk in it.
