Powerpoint bullet on click?

Don't know if I am in the right place but can anyone help? I am making powerpoint for a job interview (2003 version) and I am trying to make the bullet points apprear when I click the mouse rather than have everything on the slide at once. I have found animations which make them fade in slowly one by one but the rate of fade in is far to fast as I want to talk about each bullet point individually. Have done a search on internet but only find the fade in advise. Please help!

Which version of PowerPoint? You are looking for menu items around the word "build" and "effects" and the effect your are looking for is "appear" with the option "by paragraph". I can be more specific when I know which version....

What you will need to do it to have each bullet point on a seperate slide, building up on each one, i.e. the first slide will have just the title, the second the title and the first bullet, and third the title, first bullet and the second bullet, etc., then when you run it as a slide show it looks like they are appearing one at a time. There will be more options for how the slide show grows, but that is how I would approach it.

I think Donny Gal is wrong and HC is right - it is builds and choose appear

IMHO - never use the fly in options they look naff and even appear is a bit 1990's for my liking - I tend to only use for killer points - It can detract from your presentation if you are over concentrating on clicking not on talking
    good luck

Just checked PP 2003 and it's in the menu items Slide Show\custom animation to get the choices. You can then choose "appear" from the effects and choose the order in which the lines appear. At the bottom, click on the radio button for "on mouse click".

The "single line on each slide" would work, but will take ages to set up.

From memory in PP 2007 it's more or less the same - reply if you need instructions for 2007 and I'll double-check.
