Rough Electrical Estimate

I live in the Yorkshire area and I am after an electrician to fit me a new circuit board and 5 new double sockets. I have had 2 electricians around so far but not heard back with a quote yet.

I really need to do roughly what this will cost does anyone have any ideas???

Cheers

    If the main bonding is ok and the installation is satisfactory condition, £500 imo.

    P.S Think I might move to Scotland

    So it took a week (40hrs) to do the work you asked for. You were ripped off.
    I came into this world with nothing and I'm gonna leave with nothing.

    New consumer unit (16th Edition) £250
    New consumer unti (17th Edition) £350

    Main bonding £40-£150, depending on time / hassle

    sockets £35 per outlet

    so 5 sockets = £175
    cons unit = £250
    bonding = £75

    Approx = £470

    ps I would suggest mains smoke detectors £130 for 2 wired approx)
    baldly going on...
