Pre Pay Credit Card

in Credit cards
Hi
I've just booked to go to Canada and the US. When booking accommodation the sites say they require credit card details. I don't have a credit card - used to have EGG cc but in their 'purge' I got drop-kicked. I have since tried to apply (well, once..) for a cc and was refused.
My only option is this which is pre-loaded with money, they even do a $ one too, does this seem like a good deal (in terms of me NOT being able to get an actual cc) or are there better pre payment cc's out there?
Thanks in advance!!

When this was discussed before I think most people thought the one from cashplus was the better option.

Have you tried getting one of the following CCs?
- Aqua
- Barclays Initial
- Capital One Classic
- Halifax
- Vanquis
I'm sure you're likely to be accepted by one of the above CC issuers. I'd avoid prepaid cards at all cost since it's too expensive. You shouldn't be paying to use your own money.
Again, if you really cannot or don't want to get a credit card - then Cashplus would be your best option.0
