HI have taken off Macafee and put on kapersky suite and ccleaner do i need anything else on my laptop, not very well up on computers. Thank you for the WHSMITH link saved me £24

i would say not put some will say yes
been using kis for years and nothing else apart from spydot every few month and usally it do not find anything
put letts see what overs say haythere or their,one day i might us the right one ,until then tuff0 -
Is it the Kaspersky suite or just anti virus product.
If the suite you have everything you are likely to need, if just the anti virus product you will need a firewall.
A good free one is Comodo - https://www.personalfirewall.comodo.com/download_firewall.html
I would also install some sort of antispyware product like Superantispyware, this too is free but is reactive not proactive (fee required for this function)
