PC slowed down after installed itunes

I just got my 1st ipod and installed itunes. Since then my laptop has been really slow to boot up - it takes 6 mins for my icons to appear on the desktop! :mad:
Has anyone else had this problem? I can only put it down to itunes as it was booting up fine before I installed it.

run msconfig and remove Itunes and quicktime from your startup

they will start when required , not needed at start up !!Ex forum ambassador
