Sorry I suppose this is big time out of every board but
my Nana has died - not so bad 93 to the day and she simply died in her sleep - tired but not in pain
The funeral directors say that they don't usually do an order of service but we (me and my brothers) want to. A long time ago I designed and printed some off for a friend for her mother's service but I don't know if I'm just not up to it at the moment but I can't seem to find any nice clip art to sort one out for my Nana. She liked wild/cottage garden flowers and I'ld just like a couple of clip art images to put in corners of sheet and as dividers etc. I was going to photocopy onto card so they don't have to be colour. Perhaps something in a oval frame so we could surround an old photo of her
Sorry I just feel like the whole process is so uncaring and unpersonal at the moment and I want to do the right thing. If anyone has any ideas I'ld be very very grateful
ps where's the smilie for feeling so useless and breaking apart at the seams?

Hi kscour
Unfortunately I have no ideas for clip art, although I will try and find something.
My Grandmother died last month (aged 96) and I was devastated. So I know how you're feeling right now.
Hugs for you,

Just had a quick look at google, lots of clipart, not sure it is what you want. All the best.0

So sorry to hear.
I know that she likes garden flowers, but is their a specific flower e.g. I know my mother had lily of the valley in her wedding bouquet, and that is her one special flower. I don't know about clipart, but a little more information may help peole to help.
Sorry i can't help more0 -
Kscour,
With lots of help from another member, Sheel I have found these:
Clip-art pics
Botanical Prints
Is this the kind of thing you are looking for?

I'm very sorry to hear your sad news
my Gran died 17 years ago aged 88 & I still miss her, but time has made the memories bitter-sweet rather than painful
I've been having a Google too, lots of Victorian stuff, but not so many of wildflowers & cottage garden flowers. maybe I'm not using the best search terms?
some of them are lovely but quite gaudy, though they could be toned down or changed to B&W or sepia in Photoshop or similar, & I'm sure a nice oval vignette could be made
PM me if you'd like a bit of help, or the URLs for the clipart (I just noticed that I'm not allowed to post attachments)

I'm so sorry for your sad loss.
My nanny and grandad have boh passed on; and althoug time is a great healer, I still miss them, and love them as much as I ever did.
I talk to them lots, and I hope they know how much I love them.
I'm sorry I'm not much use with your problem regarding service, I know others have been much more helpful; but I simply wanted to pass on my condolences and tell you you're not useless at all, not I suspect, are you falling apart at the seams.
Good luck , I hope the service is just as she would have wanted, and I hope you and your family can find some solace in performing this last task for her.
God bless you pet, keep your chin up and take as long as you need to come to terms with it.
xxxI ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.
Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.0 -
