Digital photo frame

Hello,

Not sure if that's what they're called, but I want to buy my mum one of those things that you can plug in and they show all your digital photos. She is very backward at anything hi-tech, so I'll need to buy it and basically fill it with photos before I give it to her. I will want to use my USB pen to take a load of family photos from my PC and then transfer them to the new photo frame thing. Is this what you do? If not, anyone know what I need to buy to make this possible, or any other suggestions?

Thanks,

Duncan

There are quite a few different makes/models available - Ebuyer alone stocks about 50 different ones.

The most common sort are those which have one or more memory card slots, so if you buy a couple of SD cards, you can change the selection on your computer without it sitting at her place with nothing on it.

Just bought a Kodak SV1011 model for mums 90th .
Pictures on either a usb stick sd , ms xd mmc cards as well .
Small remote control as well .
Load pictures on a card/usb stick switch on press play and one rotates to next every ten seconds ( can be changed to longer ).
Loads of them about i would set a price range then look at the reviews on Amazon etc .

If its for a technophobe ( sounds like it ;) )

Try to ensure you get one which starts showing the photos as soon as its switched on
Mine, the Linx 8" doesn't and requires some button presses to get it going - Mad ! but there it it is

If I may direct you to my advice on loading the photos
