So 2 adults, 2 children aged 5 and 3 a week away in the Balearics in Whit week - 4 star or equivalent - self catering and B&B coming in at £2,500!!
Is that about average?
If so then goodness me summer holidays must be eye wateringly expensive - no wonder people get into debt over them - I used to think 2 holidays a year was a must - I'm not so sure now.
Presuambly the best way is going to be find a flight (easier said than done of course) and book accomodation seperately? (anybody else sick of reading bad reviews on trip advisor?).
Cheers

About 4 years ago I took me and the mrs and kids to florida for christmas and when I priced it up i realised I could save more than £500 by taking them out of school one day early before the xmas break. I remember some talk about the govt putting a plan in place so holidays would be subsidised during half term etc but this never happened. oooo what a suprise.
all the best

Sounds a bit pricey that. I have just booked independently for a week in Whit for £1500 for 2 adults and 2 children in a villa in Canaries.0
