AUSTRALIA_Long term insurance

My daughter is going for a year to work in Australia. Can anybody advise what type of insurance to take out as the normal anual trip insurances only cover you for up tp max. 60 days away at a time?
Thanks.

If you google "backpackers insurance" or "gap year insurance" you should find something.

Try STA travel - they have insurance designed with backpackers in mind. Though it was a few years ago now I used their travel insurance when I went travelling - coverage was very good. You'll be after a single trip policy with a long duration.
