Combi Boiler

Calling All Plumbers Please Help,
I have a combi boiler and when i turn the hot tap on it runs hot water for about five minutes and then cuts out. So I turn the tap off wait for a few minutes turn it on again and it does the same thing runs hot then goes cold.
I have watched it on the boiler itself when it cuts out, the demand light comes on but then goes off.
The cental heating is ok and the water runs hot all the time when the heating is on its only playing up when i want hot water only with no heating on.
Also the boiler is firing up ok and pilot light is lit all the time.
Any Ideas

there is a Diaphragm in the combi that swithes the supply between boiler and hot water...if it is faulty very similar things to what you are experiencing happen...
what model boiler ??Ex forum ambassador
