Coast to Coast Charity Bike Ride

Hello, just a quick post to let people know about an event coming up in July this year, myself and a few work colleagues are doing the coast to coast bike ride over the weekend beginning the 3rd of July 2008, we are cycling from Workington in Cumbria back to Tynemouth in North Tyneside near Newcastle (our home town), were going via Penrith and plan to get it done in 3 days.
We are raising the money for a work colleague who was suddenly struck down with cancer, he is only 19 years old and fell sick with head aches which turned out to be a 3 inch brain tumour, he is not at work at the moment and has undergone major surgery, he is on the mend and going through chemotherapy now, but our company doesn’t pay sick pay so all the funds raised will go to Steven, just thought I would let people know and you never know we could be passing through your town.
