Problem with Icesave Fixed rate saver

Just wanted to sound this out with you guys before phoning Icesave in the morning. I opened a 1 year fixed rate account online on Wednesday and elected to fund it using money in my Icesave easy access account. I asked for £5000 to be deposited into the fixed account which would have left £300 in the easy access account as I didn't want to close it outright.
I signed in tonight and can see that the new account info which is good, however there is a problem. Instead of the balance being £5000, Icesave only transferred £3000 in from my easy access account.
I definitely requested £5000 to be transferred and the account doesn't allow further deposits once opened so I am at a loss as to what to do

You can open another one with the other £2000 and the result is the same. They should correct it for you in the morning though when you ring them, if it's their error.0

Birmingham and midshire rates look quite good for the 6 month bond and i believe they are owned by HBOS.
Does anyone know if you can just walk into HBOS and ask to use their subsidary BANK ie Birmingham and midshire section of the company?0 -
If you wanted to open a BM account, you'd have to make the application via BM, not through Halifax or Bank of Scotland.0

Thanks Lavendyr. Phoned them up a few minutes ago and was informed that I need to open another account to transfer the additional sum.DEBT FREE AND LOVING LIFE0 -

Just to reiterate, you are allowed to have more than one open - I currently have 5, 2x6 months and 3x1 year - staggered so they mature at different times.Conjugating the verb 'to be":
-o I am humble -o You are attention seeking -o She is Nadine Dorries0
