Hi
I have never held an ISA before. I was thinking about opening a ISA with HSBC. What I wanted to basically know was:
(1) how long does it take to process a new app
(2) is it to late now
(3) do I need to supply my NI details - if so how do I supply these to HSBC Online or via phone?

Firstly there are much better rates than HSBC although i do like their banking online and if you prefer to be with them as you trust them and bank with them then fair enough. That being the case they will already have all your details and you will probably find you may just be able to get this years isa opened .You will need your NI no,yes.
If there is a facility to open the iSA online you will find it on their website, but it may be quicker to actually go into a branch.0
