    Just out of interest, when did she pass her test and what categories does she have on her licence? If she passed after 1/1/1997 and doesn't have Category E, she may need to take a B+E driving test to tow the trailer if it exceeds 750kg laden. The fact she would have taken a Cat C or Cat C1 would be irrelevent in regards to towing.
