Can you recommend a gas fitter in Plymouth?

Aaaagh,
So much for getting rid of the credit card bills - My boiler appears to have died :eek:
The man from British Gas says it is 30 years old, would cost at least £150 for him to fix with no guarantees, and therefore is not worth it.
So, I would like recommendations for a reliable gas engineer to confirm BGs assessment and quote for a new system.
Any recommendations on who to go for (or not) in Plymouth?
How much do you think it should cost to replace a back boiler & tank with a new condensing combi boiler?
