PC Freeview Satellite - interlacing issue

Just aquired some free-to-air 'satellite tv on broadband' software and have got loads of channels, however they're broadcasting as true TV signal and my codecs aren't de-interlacing, so I'm getting the cross-screen flickers on my pc monitor.

Anyone know of a suitable codec/setup to remove this? I already have the KLite codec pack.

What are you using to play the video back? VLC will deinterlace for you during playback.

If you're stuck using their software it could be a lot more complicated, if not impossible. Codec packs are generally a bad idea, but that's separate from this issue.
They say it's genetic, they say he can't help it, they say you can catch it - but sometimes you're born with it
