Don't know if they are the cheapest, but I've got mine with Ecclesiastical. Moved to them because Direct Line wouldn't (3 years ago, may be different now) insure rented-out properties.

    Simon,

I have been dealing with Homelet for about 4 years and they have always been spot on. They operate specifically for landlords and offer good value products.

    Check them out at https://www.homelet.co.uk

I would also consider some kind of emergency call out cover for electrics, plumbing, gas etc for total piece of mind, especially if the rental covers it comfortably.

    Hope this helped

    OK try these:

    AA Special Risk 0870 606 1618
    ukinsurancenet.com
    homeletuk.com

I am with AA for about £100 a year.

Note that the special risk dept is not accessible thru the AA website.
