my favourite pair, well, single sock is a Hong Kong Fuey one. It was a lonely single pair from Sainsbury's about 7 years ago, yellow stickered to 99p and left in a bargain bin. I rescued them and gave them a loving home.
I'm not sure why I only have 1 now (another victim of the sock monster), but the 1 I have was mauled by my dog when he was a puppy, but even though it is past its best and has served me well I wouldn't put a good sock down.
I just pair it up with the single Purple Ronnie sock I own.
Ooooooooooooooh Meyore - YOU'VE got my tigger socks - I always wondered what happened to them!!!!"Stay Wonky":D

I have a carrier bag full of odd black socks.
Most of the matching socks are buried in the garden, thanks to my lovely dog. Why cant she bury the odd socksIs it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

Hi Keren. Welcome to the great sock debate!0

why thankyou SockMeister Steve!
Have to confess, I do feel I'm a bit of a sockophobe.
I've always hated seeing women wear ankle socks, trainers and a skirt. As a child, I used to detest being sent to school in ankle socks, shoes and a skirt. I felt as if my legs were shortened by the whole 'look'.:rotfl:
Whenever I see the opening scene of Working Girl, I want to scream at Melanie Griffiths as she walks to work - get those bloody ankle socks off - wear the trainers, yes, but stop the whole sock thing!"Stay Wonky":D

I also hate the sensation some cheaper pairs of socks give me - the kind that don't quite seem to have the heel bit sewn in the right place.
Does my head in."Stay Wonky":D

I want flourescent socks to come back into fashion, as they (ahem) were in the early 90's. I had one pair of yellow, one pair of green and one pair of orange.
ahhhhh but did you wear an odd pair:heartpuls baby no3 due 16th November :heartpulsTEAM YELLOWDFD 16/6/10"Shut your gob! Or I'll come round your houses and stamp on all your toys" The ONE, the ONLY, the LEGENDARY Gene Hunt :heart2:0 -
