Ebay user spamming me

Got an email today from an spammer trying to sell me an item on Ebay. This is the first time I have heard about this user as I havent purchased anything from him, and in the 2 years I have only purchased 6 items none was furniture as this idiot is trying to flog me.

What are the chances of Ebay taken action? I have reported him to Ebay, the host which they use there site only for having a domain name email for selling, site isnt operational as such, just a presence as they say on there web site. I also reported them to there ISP which they used to register the domian name with too. Think I am all covered. I despise spammers wo anything to hurst these *(&*(*&*& with I will.

I think I got the same spam. It was for a table and chairs.
God knows how they got my email address at the university were I work.
Needless to say I didn't buy.

I reported to BT as the email is registered using BT name ***@buildinvestment.com also domain name. If anyone gets one form this moron report them ist the only way these idiots learn.

Yup I got it to. Reported it to ebay as illegal unsolicited commercial email.

Anyone else been spamed by this person, please say so. Ebay appear but not suprised, to not want to do anything. If they wont then I will. I hate spammers.

No response at all to my email so I sent another one last night complaining about their lack of action. I expect they will ignore that one too.

This person obviously has obtained email addresses from dubiosu means. Ebay don't appear to take the item of spamming from individuals seriously, as clearly the person has spammed other users judging by the response here.

I ahve informed Ebay to check this forum, not sure if they will but the more people who complain, perhaps Ebay will finally listen.

Thanks for the copy Poppycat. I have just downloaded the complaint form from the information commission who police the new act. It asks if it has been reported to anyone else and what the response was. I shall enjoy telling them about eBay's lack of action!

Great stuff. I am also contacting Pipex as the domain name they use is using there networks. The domain name is registered using a BT account so I am awaiting there response too.
