Don't get me wrong. I spent 6k redoing my galley kitchen with all the latest gadgets, but where are you buying the fixtures and fittings from? Harrods?!

The BathStore do vaguely decent stuff, but again depends on what level of quality you're looking for. If you want period how about trying to find some "reclaimed" period items. You'll get the actual look without paying through the nose.
