    hi all,

Still stuggling with keeping up with whats going on so trying out opening two windows and typing in one while reading the other - how does everyone else manage? I'm feeling a lot more positive than I have been so I guess thats a bit of a start...

Meyore - Wow that's so arty, don't put yourself down!! you shouldnt worry about messing them up as its the unique look everyone seems to love anyway. The number of fancy invites my family gets and each one is exactly the same near enough. You must be super organised to have the stuff already. What is it you are planning on doing?

Lady M - you are so lucky!! even if you dont want any of them take it as a compliment and enjoy your own company. Definitely ignore numpties like your FM - nasty comments say more about the other person than they do to the person they are directed at.

30 miles isnt that far away though if thats the reason you are discounting him.

    What is hunts??

Fake it until You Make it - acting like you are confident can see you through. It just takes time for the rest of you to catch up.

You hair looks lovely. Its a lovely colour, have you had it dyed too? And there's nothing wrong that I can see with your face....

Fairydawn - still not sure about the job, I'm going to drop my cv in a few places this next few days and see what happens. I have my diss due next Friday so mainly gonna concentrate on that for the minute.

Runwin - I know that feeling ... last night was awful and there was totally no reason for it i can fathom. Do you get up and potter about or stay in bed? I normally get up and clean/put washing in/iron etc - My flatmates think i'm pots for rags!

    SF - Enjoy London.

ILGD - Oh no thats awful, pets really are part of the family. hugs xx

I've been trying to find something to do this weekend as I am going slowly round the bend sitting in watching TV with my rather irritating housemates ... I just cant find anything that I can do on my own which is reasonable cheap and doesnt involve loads of travel. Any ideas?

    Hugs everyone,

    Jen

    :hello: Jen,

Firstly please call me Katie as everyone else does on here :) for what to do on your own, could you go to a cafe for a coffee or treat yourself to lunch out somewhere? :) I do that normally myself as I eat out all the time,I am never in most days in my flat :)

    love and light,

I don't have any contact with my foster parents anymore, which still upsets me a bit as I got on well with my foster dad and I miss my little foster sister so much, but I think it's better this way. :)

I really like Toby and he's so lovely and maybe something will happen but right now I need to sort myself out before I even contemplate another relationship.lol.

Hunts.mind is the local branch of the charity MIND which holds drop ins and groups for people with mental health problems. I was referred by my CPN almost three years ago. :) It's a great place and I have made some great friends there. That's where I met Nikki. :)

I think my new hair will make me more confident.lol. It's so cool. :rotfl:
I dyed my hair a deep red colour a couple of months ago but the colour is coming out now. My blonde roots are coming through really badly though, and when my hair was being cut it was so obvious from underneath. I kind of forgot how blonde my hair used to be. Seeing photos is one thing - but actually seeing it in person is in another league.lol. Janette says that I should have it dyed my natural hair colour, and I was thinking of maybe doing that and having pink highlights or something? That way it would still suit the clothes I wear because it would kind of be punky.lol. One of my friends says he'll stop being my friend if I go blonde because apparently all blondes are stupid. I don't normally blow up at people, but that really peeved me off - a lot.

I can show you a photo of when I was a child and had blonde hair if you like? :)

*hugs* to everyone that needs one

    love and light,

Glad you had a good day. :) I had a great day today. Saw Nikki and Janette, and Janette has just by coincidence bought the same lawnmower as me and managed to assemble hers so she's going to help me.lol. Had a relaxing time having my hair cut too (after I got over the anxiety attack anyway.lol.)
Sorry your CPN couldn't make it. At least she apologised though. :D

I love chill out CDs. The dolphin ones are a particular favourite of mine. :)

    hiya Katie :hello:

Its so busy in town - I do my best to avoid it on Saturday and around Dinner time as I find it difficult to co-ordinate everything, I seem to get in everyone's way all the time and then people shove past me and I get panicky by it all. I just want to do something different really, just really hard finding something to do on your own.

Lady M - Maybe you could contact your foster sister on her own like through facebook and such, or if she isnt old enough for that then maybe wait a few years and see then...

Yes, you are right focusing on yourself for awhile is a good idea. Its too much to give your all to a relationship when your poorly etc. Hunts, the MIND place sounds excellent, the website for the charity is excellent too - I wish I could find a friend like you have, its wonderful to have someone who understands how you are feeling and to fight your corner when you dont feel up to it anymore.

Going back to you natural colour sounds a good idea and it might help with the overall health of your hair. Mine started to drop out last year so I had it cut short to try to minimise it, my eyebrows also fell out and have only every partly grown back. I look permanently shocked somehow :rotfl:

lol re the blondes are stupid :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: do they apply these stupid ideas to men as well as blonde men are regarded as sexy aren't they - austrialian men even dye there hair to be blond

I love other peoples kiddie photo's, its weird how theyre so not alike to what we end up looking like, on the other hand they are ...

As you can see I have gone mini pic crazy this time as been trying out new stuff on here.

She's 11 years old now but such a sweet girl. I'll leave it a few years but I doubt she'll even remember who I am to be honest. So many foster kids come in and out of my old foster parents. Sometimes it's better to leave parts of life behind and never look back. :(

Sometimes I feel like I'll never get better. :( I hate having to rely on other people, which is a big part of why I like being alone, and I hate other people relying on me because when my BPD gets bad, I let them down. I can't help it, it's just the way it is.

Nikki is great, and a real star. My friend Emlyn is the same. Emlyn doesn't have mental health problems though but she is awesome. So kind and sincere and just such a great friend to me. I've had so many people come and go in my life, it's nice to have people who are constant for a change. You'll find friends like mine one day. It might take a lot of searching, but when you find them it will be worth it. :)

My hair fell out a lot but I think it was because of the bad condition it was in. I used to pull my eyebrows out. It was an impulse thing. =/
Permanently shocked? :rotfl: I would actually like to see that. :D

Exactly. Seems like one rule for one gender and another rule for the other. It's ridiculous.

    Hehe. I look innocent in mine...then I grew up....haha.

Thank you Diamond hun. I used to hate my eyes. I'm not sure why but over the past few years I've started to like the colour. I have a squint in my right eye though. It's more visible when I'm tired but I'll need a third op eventually.lol.
