Haha, no problem.. i was just about to say goodnight - lol
What came first, the music or the misery? Did I listen to pop music because I was miserable? Or was I miserable because I listened to pop music?

Horrible when it's like that isn't it - tired yet unable to sleep..
Try not to think about having to go into town, if i know i have to go out early it will stop me sleeping full stop..

Do i remember correctly that you were prescribed Zopiclone as well ??
as they are making me feel not very well at times..

That's actually a good idea. I'll try and concentrate on something else.
I hate not being able to sleep and when I do finally manage to get to sleep I am woken by ngithmares. =/

I was prescribed Zopiclone for a week a couple of years ago. I wasn't prescribed it for longer because of my "history" but it didn't have any effect on me other than making me feel shaky and nauseous. It gave me palpitations too.

The nightmares must make it even more difficult to fall asleep, knowing that they will wake you at some point..
The tablets are making me nauseous, plus playing havoc with stomach ache & a total loss of appetite - i'll have to mention it too the Dr..

Has no-one recommended anything else for your sleep patterns ?

That doesn't sound nice. I'd definitely mention it to the doctor as the may be able to prescribe a med that is easier on you.

The doctors and therapists ask how I'm sleeping so I tell them and they say "Oh, I see". I tell them about the nightmares and flashbacks, and they say it's part of my PTSD. I tell them about the hallucinations and voices and they say that's also part of the PTSD. No doubt eventually they'll say my sleeping is part of PTSD - I say eventually.lol.
My sleep patterns are driving me crazy, and I don't feel I am being taken seriously to be honest but I can't keep going on like this. It's got to the point where even just getting up to make a cup of tea is exhausting because I don't have the energy.

They all sound very unhelpful, it's ok saying it's part of PTSD if they then give you something to help but just to write it off like that sounds very un-professional..

I know what you mean about the lack of energy, can be very frustrating can't it ?? i think that has aided my lack of concentration.. everything then just seems like a catch 22 situation and can be really hard to break..
