in Credit cards
Not strictly a credit card but I have a query about Next accounts
My credit limit seems to change on almost a daily basis - 1 minute it's £400, today I got a statement saying that it's £2200, then I check on website and it's back to £600!!!
Gaaaah - I went in the other day to buy some clothes using the charge card thing and it took ages to sort out and they put it through eventually telling me to ring the credit people when I got home - to find it was down to £300!!!!
It's driving me nuts!!! How am I supposed to know what I have to spend if they change it so often???

Mine is the same. When I got it a year ago the limit was £150. It stuck at that for a while then jumped to £400, then £500, then £300, then £500, then £1500, then £800 and now £500.
I am now resolved to paying it off and closing it. Its too confusing for words.0 -
There is stuff on this on "The embarrassed by Barclays" thread on this board:o0

Like you my credit limit changes constantly, varying from 1000-2000, they obviously like changing them lol. Inconvienent though.0

Yes, when I first opend my account they gave me £200, now after I placed an order thet reduced it to £146 ????? are they on glue or something?Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.0

I have a next account but my credit limit is pretty static on a month to month basis ... I do know that they review the account credit limits every month just as a statement is being produced but I find my limit only changes every 4 months or so ...:happylove Tori Bellatrix :happylove
