Which card would you more likely be accepted for if you have a part time job and are a student?
I know this might be a sillly question but i was just a bit curious which one too apply for, seeing as i will hopefully have a full time job this time next year.

Get either Capital One Classic or a credit card that comes with a student account.0

Why would you want one if you are a student working part time? Dont do it....it would be the top of a long slippery slope.0

Don't agree - I had a credit card as a student with a £250 limit, now 17 years on I have made money from stoozing the Credit Cards.
I think is you are financially savvy its a great idea to get a starter card and start building your Credit Rating, before you know it you will have that much more power in terms of the credit that you can hold off.
Of course, this assumes that you are able to efficiently manage the card, if you feel that you may not be able to trust yourself to manage it carefully, maybe its not for you. Good Luck0 -

Thats my feelings, i'm not going to go crazy with it, but seeing as i'm looking for my first car i was hoping to put the petrol on that then pay it off at the end of every month (so i will have more interest basically)8,000 / 10,000 saved. Another 2,000 by April 2011!0 -
Hi,
If you cannot get a normal APR card, you could try either. The only difference I can see between them is that the Aqua card doesn't offer any cashback on application.
tyou can get £20 cashback for a successful application at www.topcashback.co.uk with Vanquis0 -

If rejected by one how long should i wait before reapplying? A month or Two? I don't have much of a credit history, although i do have a credit search by Next saying i was born in 1971 ... i was born in 1990
would that affect my application? 8,000 / 10,000 saved. Another 2,000 by April 2011!0 -
